General Logistics Systems US, Inc. (GLS) is a leader in ground parcel delivery with a proven record of excellent service and continuing growth. With over 50 locations across the Western US, our service area expands the states of CA, AZ, NV, NM, OR, WA, ID, and UT. We are seeking local entrepreneurs and transportation companies to expand with us and provide Pickup and Delivery services and Line Haul services across our network. Entrepreneurs interested in starting an independent motor carrier business are encouraged to apply.

Pickup & Delivery

GLS is seeking local contract service providers for pickup and delivery services. Successful contract service providers are awarded a dedicated geographic territory for all parcel pickup and delivery. As GLS continues to grow so will the volume within the awarded geography. Contract service providers have contractual interest in their geography with the ability to grow equity within their own business and to sell that in the future. To become a contract service provider, you must:

  • Contract as a motor carrier and maintain proper licenses at the local, state, and federal level and operating authority to provide services as a motor carrier, including but not limited to USDOT and MC licenses
  • Provide required capacity such as step-vans, sprinters, and/or cargo vans (min. 238 cubic feet)
  • Provide required personnel and employees
  • Carry requisite insurance coverages
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws
  • Cover all business related/operating costs

Contracts are awarded to service providers following a formal open bid process.

Line Haul Providers

GLS is seeking local independent trucking companies for both inter- and intra- regional line haul transportation. Line haul contracts are awarded both as scheduled daily service as well as ad-hoc and on-demand service. To become a potential business partner, you must:

  • Contract as a motor carrier and maintain proper licenses at the local, state, and federal level and operating authority to provide services as a motor carrier, including but not limited to USDOT and MC licenses
  • Provide required power units for the lane being awarded such as Day Cab, Sleeper Cab, Straight Truck, etc. All equipment must meet all local, state, and federal regulations and GLS image requirements
  • Provide required personnel/employees with Class A license and/or double endorsed license
  • Carry requisite insurance coverages
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws
  • Cover all business related/operating costs
